Vestas Northern & Central Europe (NCE) is a Sales Unit of Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the largest manufacturer of wind turbines in the world and the only global energy company dedicated exclusively to wind energy.
The Business Controller function is anchored in the Commercial Operations department and works across multiple functions in an international environment to deliver on Vestas "profitable growth" strategy. We are responsible for sales of high value clean energy projects in a department with a flexible and open work environment.
Commercial Operations is a small yet important stakeholder in forecasting our sales volumes and sales activities. We maintain the sales process, customer relations management system and resource planning system for the entire region. We own the governance of the sales pipeline and run weekly meetings where sales projects are reviewed, and management is informed on the progress, forecasts and focus areas.
We actively monitor and work to improve CRM data quality and take pride in being the best in class in Vestas.
In 2020 we are introducing a new sales activity planning tool, revising the sales process capturing parallel processes and more customer related processes and simplifying parts of the governance process.


Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the sales process and tools
Monitor and pursue system data quality, and contribute to improvement of the same
Monitor and track forecasting accuracy on short term as well as medium term, and contribute to improvement of the same
Prepare Gate governance meetings (internal steps of maturing a project)
CRM super-user being go-to-person for issues or questions on our CRM system (SAP Cloud for Customer and soon Salesforce)
Train new employees on the CRM platform
Train new users and coach any user on sales project planning platform (Smartsheet)



Qualifications
Master's degree in engineering, business, economics or similar, with excellent grades. Please make sure you include your expected or confirmed result in your application
Relevant work experience (e.g. from sales or commercial positions)
Fluency in written and verbal English
Solid Excel skills
Smartsheet experience, or other (sales) project planning tool experience
CRM system implementations experience, preferably Salesforce

You are highly motivated and goal oriented, with an upbeat and critical approach in your daily work
Your networking and communication skills are admirable. You are flexible, service-minded and humble when working with customers (internal) and stakeholders.
You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your assignments
You thrive in a progressive and innovative, multi-cultural work environment
You have good IT skills (Excel incl. VBA is necessary, and where skills in/knowledge of SAP C4C and SAP Project Builder, and Salesforce is beneficial but not required)

Additional information
The position will be located at Vestas' office in Malmö Svågertorp.
Travel may be required occasionally across Northern and Central Europe.
