About the position
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the most renowned leading international FMCG brands that has delivered consistent growth in the Nordic markets over the last 17 years. The position is a full time, permanent position and will be a part of the finance team based at the Nordic headquarter in Solna/Stockholm. The role, Business Controller Marketing, is reporting to the CFO of Lindt & Sprüngli (Nordic) AB.
Key responsibilities
1. (Marketing-) Controlling
Prepare Product Calculations during Pre- and Post-launch phases and take a leading role in the price setting process (strategy, raw material development, net price calculations
Prepare and analyse monthly Product Contribution Statement (PCS) and follow up with Marketing Team
Support Marketing Team with financial advice and analysis for strategic and operative marketing plans in particular during preparation for the yearly Marketing Plan Dialog (MPD) with head office
Pre- and Post-Assessment of Promotions / Campaigns as well as A&P investments
Monthly analysis of Marketing Management expenses incl. follow up with Marketing Director
Support Sales Controller with handling and booking of Genero-Payments (Sales Returns, Promo and Demo)
Analyze COGS and GP (incl. Inventory, Destructions, Variations to Standard) and follow up with CFO and Head of Supply Chain
2. Budget, Forecasts & Latest Estimates
Support Marketing Team in Planning activities such as Rolling Forecasts, Latest Estimates and Budgets including:
- NTS (Net Sales) per product / -group
- Marketing Management Expenses
- Advertising and Consumer Promotion
Coordinate and assure timely submission of Budgets, Forecasts and Latest Estimates
Backup Sales Controller as Key User for Lindt & Sprüngli’s NTS Planning Solution (e.g. SAP IBP)
3. Product Master Data Management
Monitor Product Master Data process and assure correct assignment of Local- and International Product Attributes (IPA)
Implement approval process for standard prices in SAP and assure adherence to it.
4. Business Intelligence / Corporate Performance Management Tool
Maintain and further develop Lindt & Sprüngli Nordic’s BI/CPM Tool(s) (e.g. IBM Planning Analytics)
Optimize and further develop internal processes, routines and systems
5. Support and advice Nordic Marketing team on accounting or managerial questions
Support Marketing Team with coding of invoices
Prepare or give support with ad-hoc analysis and calculations
First level support for IBM Planning Analytics or SAP Analytics Cloud
6. Miscellaneous
Take lead or collaborate in diverse finance- or cross-divisional projects
Your profile
University degree in business administration, finance, accounting etc. or equivalent
Min. 5 years in Controlling / Business Analytics
FMCG-Experience preferred, but not necessarily required
Experience in implementing or managing Business Intelligence Tool(s) advantageous
Accounting and Controlling Knowledge
Excellent MS Excel Skills
Distinct Flair for IT and Business Software
SAP (incl. SAC) and/or IBM Planning Analytics Knowledge is an advantage
Fluent in both spoken and written English (corporate language)

Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Must be commercially focused and analytical
