Business Controller - Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions

Arbetsbeskrivning

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation – where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.

For Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re now looking for a Business Controller in our Business Area Finance team – a role that calls for an organized, analytical and networking financial partner with a strong ethical compass. We offer a unique opportunity to join us on this exciting transformation journey, where you’re an active part of setting our financial processes and the chance to gain an in-depth view and business understanding of our divisions. Are you a team player and someone who takes pride in being a true doer? Do you want to learn more about financial performance management, and at the same time have a lot of fun doing it? In that case, we really want you on board!

What you will do
As a member of our Business Area Finance team, you act as a true business partner and support management with information, reports and presentations. In this position, you analyze, follow up, explain and comment on results compared with historical data, forecasts and targets. You support the closing process by performing quality checks - detecting and correcting potential mistakes. Furthermore, you improve and maintain forecasting processes and procedures, and actively drive development and adaptation of tools to optimize performance. With your open-minded approach, you easily build strong relationships and collaborate extensively with our division stakeholders as well as Sandvik Group functions.

You report to the Business Control Director at Business Area Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, and you’re based in the region of Svedala or Malmö. Some international travel is normally included in your job.

How we do it
As a team, we build and support the finance community and share best practices – developing both ourselves and our colleagues in the process. Through a strong and cohesive team, we deliver the absolute best and most reliable financial and business information, including recommending actions for improvements to our management and relevant stakeholders for various areas.

Your background and what we find important
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Accounting, combined with a few years’ experience from business control or similar financial management roles – preferably within a global organization and in combination with advanced skills in modern Excel and an understanding of IFRS. Experience as a management consultant is advantageous, as well as experience of using in Power BI, Power Query or BPC. As we act on a global stage, you need excellent verbal and written skills in English.

Who you are is very valuable for us
You’re an inspirational team player with a genuine desire to collaborate and grow whilst helping others do the same. You’re an open-minded doer who looks for constructive feedback, and by combining your service-driven approach and analytical mindset, you’re considered a trusted and proactive professional who get things done. You’re comfortable with numbers, complexity and large data sets, and always curious about how new technology can add value to the business and what you do. With your drive, customer focus and self-motivational skills, you take ownership of your work and iterate on solutions quickly.

At Sandvik, we believe that diversity of experience, perspective and background leads to a better environment for our employees, our business and our customers. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
