We are looking for a Business Controller who will work as a Controller for local Sales and Marketing in BeNeLux and Export. You will play an active and important role with financial support to our different brands Santa Maria, Risenta and Gold & Green for both Retail and Out Of Home Products.

Purpose of the role
Act as Business Partner in all Finance related topics to the two management teams of BeNeLux and Export. Take a leading and proactive role in providing business and finance support and manage month end reporting, forecasting and business plan process. Proactive support in identifying and executing improvement of future business performance. Support in executing strategic initiatives from the Senior Management team. The position is based at Paulig Groups office in Mölndal and you report to the Director of Business Control Scandinavia & Central Europe.

Main Responsibilities

• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and give recommendations and proposals for improving business results to the management teams
• Calculate total price requirements based upon documentation and argumentation from Sourcing/Sales (inflation driven, currency driven, strategic pricing driven or on innovation products) and set targets per market
• Take an active role in Strategic Pricing way of working, together with our business
• Give proactive recommendations and identify risks and opportunities for New Business projects
• Provide financial analysis and business recommendation in Brand, Product and Customer profitability
• Support in executing strategic initiatives from Paulig Senior Management teams
• Coordinating the budget process together with other Business Controllers as well as with the local management teams
• Analyzing month end result on a total level and explain deviations in main P&L drivers to the management teams

Qualifications

• You have a Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Controlling in a medium to large company ideally in the Consumer Goods industry or other products selling
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects
• Commercial interest and strong Business Partner Skills
• International experience is a plus
• Experience from working in ERP system (preferably AX) and BI tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to challenge and influence
• High integrity, i.e. standing up for Financial conclusion even in case of diverse discussion

• Adaptive communication skills
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Action oriented and persistent in execution
