The organisation you will be part of is responsible for the local industrial activities in markets where Scania import trucks and buses as kits and assemble the vehicles locally at the market. We are a global organisation that works tight together as one team. The organisation is a apart of the Industrial operations but in close co-operation with the sales organisation within Scania.

We are now currently hiring a business controller as our current colleague will take on another position within Scania. You will be situated in Södertälje, sitting together with the smaller team that is leading our global team. You will report to the Finance Manager of  the organisation, be a part of the finance community of the RPCs and the industrial operations of Scania with a lot of contact and interactions within Scania. The position includes occasional business travelling and is a very good platform for the continuous journey within Scania.

Job Summary:

You will be working with and have responsibilities for the common financial reporting for the RPCs, such as book closing, projections, investments, KPIs, etc. The financial team is global, continuously working with improvements of the internal processes where you will be involved in challenging and improving the efficiency. The position also includes a great variety in ad-hoc investigations connected to our local production units. The RPCs that currently are under OR’s responsibility are situated in Malaysia, Taiwan, South Africa, Russia and India. The expectation is that you independently handle financial related issues and support the development of the RPCs. Also you will work with process development and central projects for finance within the central logistics department.

Your profile:
In order to succeed in this position you are eager to learn. We think you are open-minded, have communication skills and the ability to work with personnel from other cultures and have a positive, energetic attitude with a team player mentality.

You enjoy taking responsibility and initiatives, you feel comfortable in a fast moving environment with ad-hoc investigations ongoing in parallel to our basic processes.

We are looking for a person with an adequate degree in finance. We believe that you have a great interest in financial reporting and controlling as well as you like to work with process development and continuous improvements.

You have good knowledge of Excel and it’s a merit if you have knowledge about Scania reporting systems, Oracle & HFM.
