Ballast water treatment is one of the big growth potentials in the maritime industry, driven by environmental legislation. PureBallast - a system developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, prevents the spread of invasive organisms between the oceans. We have a market leading position since the launch in 2006, and we sell systems to ship owners and shipyards worldwide. In the coming years the business in this global market will grow rapidly. We will extend our team in Tumba with a passionate Business Developer. So, what are you going to do today?

Who you are
Who are youWe are looking for a person with a creative mindset, but also with an excellent ability to collect, analyze and compile data about the market. We expect you to work both in teams, and independent. You work with marketing & business development for B2B today, and are prepared to take on new challenges.
About the jobYou will be part of the Business Development and Marketing team, and will work closely with other departments in Alfa Laval, to follow the market developments and understand the requirements of the market. Your daily work will include a wide stretch of tasks;

Market information data collection & analysis
VOC
Business Cases
Management of engineering partners
Identify and evaluate training need for the organization and partners
Input and output for value based selling

What you know

Experience from market analysis, VOC, Business Cases
Relevant educational background in marketing, sales and business development.
Project Management experience
Knowledge of B2B market would be an advantage
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Are structured with attention to details
Great skills in English both in speech and in writing

The PureBallast product is marketed and sold entirely by Alfa Laval and you will act within the global Alfa Laval organization, with international contacts, both internally and externally.
You will be located at the office in Tumba and employed by AlfaWall AB.
