IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

About the job

The group Powertrain Machining IT has the mission to support our machining workshops with business development and on-site technical support. By being close to the daily operations we fully understand what is crucial to our colleagues in the workshops and can judge the impact of new solutions and how they should be implemented. The teams are now looking to expand their area within business development and analysis - Is it you?

What you will do

Together with your colleagues within the group, cross-functionally with other parts of IT, and the business, you will collect and understand the needs of the business, translate these into IT requirements, and drive the transformation required to meet these needs. You will be the link between IT and the business with the task of guiding them in the Industry 4.0 journey.

Your daily challenges will be:

• Motivate and challenge the business in its digital transformation journey
• Collect and coordinate initiatives and portfolios across several factories at Scania and ensure that we analyze whether an initiative is already started somewhere else in the organization
• Estimate resources and costs for initiatives
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration
• Attend maintenance meetings with the business
• Project lead and participate in initiatives from demand to implemented solution
• Collaborate with solution and business architects to ensure that the business' IT requirements are in line with Scania's architecture and ways of working
• Lead workshops to gather information, and describe and model ways of working and processes
• Formulate clear specifications and requirements used in the development of new functionality and/or solutions
• Actively contribute to the development of the group's development and operations

Your profile

You are interested in IT, have knowledge within manufacturing/machining/production, and have a strong drive to make things happen. It is important that you can build and manage relationships, communicate and describe models and concepts, and you can coordinate activities in complex environments.

We also believe that:

• You have a university degree in IT/management/production or equivalent work experience
• You can express yourself flawlessly in both Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• It's easy for you to collaborate and you also deliver independently
• You have high conceptual skills, take initiative and have a problem-solving mindset
• You are a driving force in improvement work, both within your role but also cross-functionally to improve the processes throughout the flow
• You can easily adapt to new situations and thrive in a changing environment that is constantly evolving
