What you’ll do
Develop and maintain strategy and roadmap for the strategic ECAD platforms (i.e. Cadence and EPLAN) including interfaces to other critical platforms in the eco system.
Drive/enforce process standardization and improve system architecture to enable growth and ultimately improve outcome for our customers and our company.
Through effective global and horizontal teamwork develop and drive continuous improvements of engineering processes and associated system capabilities to maximize productivity, whilst ensuring compliance and alignment with overall business priorities.
Drive Governance-/User Council forums to capture Voice of the Customers (VoC).
Translate business needs and functional requirements into enhancement requests to be delivered by IT or external vendors (on-premise solutions and/or Cloud/SaaS vendors).
Application Management: work with IT and external partners to ensure that agreed service levels (operation & support) are met.
Provide expertise and direction into integration projects following Mergers & Acquisitions.

Who you are
MSc/Bsc degree in Engineering/Technology or related field
+10 years industrial experience, with broad network and understanding of various roles and processes within Product Development/R&D/Engineering
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and work with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams and deliver results in an ambiguous- and dynamic environment
Long experience from standardization, process- and systems improvements
Proven ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for enhanced/improved solutions
Strong influencing- and change agent skills, with very good presentation-, communication- and facilitation skills
Proficient in MS Office applications and fluent in English (oral and written)
Expertise/experience from Enterprise ECAD Technology/Solutions (e.g. Cadence, EPLAN).
Willing to travel domestically and internationally
