Sandvik Hard Materials is looking for Business Support and IT Specialist Description Sandvik Hard Materials, a company within the business area Sandvik Tooling, manufactures a wide variety of products in cemented carbide, ranging from advanced industrial tools and customer-specific components for the engineering industry, to high-volume blanks for tools and hot rolls for the steel industry.Business Support and IT provides a staff function to the extended SHM management group in the areas of .Overall responsibility for Global IT systems and Security-Group IT Projects .CIO responsibilities .Group IT purchases and operations .Development of global processes and methods requiring IT including Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Production and Business analysis Key performance areas Work within the SHM Global Organization providing systems and process support for Commercial and Production processes.Undertake project and development work as required.Primary Job Activities .Administer the SHM Change Process (CCP process) .Identify issues/create change proposal according to established procedure .Verify/test proposals created by others affecting the business processes .Develop Processes and procedures for inter and extra organizational business .Provide user support for interface and standard system setup .Report issues to Intentia Support Centre (MISC) .Main contact for SHM Movex/SOPIC related issues .Take responsibility as System Owner for one or more SHM Systems .Identify data integrity issues as well as need for training and system development The employment will include travelling within EU and non EU countries and a lot of international contacts.Primary location: Sandviken Your profile Knowledge/Experience requirements .Knowledge and experience in ERP or Commercial/Logistics systems .Knowledge and experience in Commercial/Logistics procedures and practices .Basic IT skills in the area of (MSAccess, AS400Query or SQL) .Good knowledge of spoken and written English Knowledge/experience in one or more of the following: Movex, Santrade, Sandvik IT/SSD, International Freight, Production processes and practices, Business Objects, is considered an extra merit.
