Vestas Northern Europe AB is Vestas Sales Business Unit for Scandinavia, UK, Poland and the Baltic's and we are responsible for Sales, Project & Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these countries. Vestas Northern Europe AB is establishing a new head office in Malmo in 2008.

Our customers can mainly be found among larger power supply companies and professional investors, but also among private investors.

The QSE department is restructuring to match the organization of Vestas Northern Europe AB and we are now searching for the right talents to fill this organization.


The Job

. To provide QSE expertise, legal advice and support to Vestas Core Functions
. To facilitate effective implementation of NEU standards and processes across the function
. To monitor effectiveness of implementation and report back on issues of compliance, current risk, trends and opportunity for improvement.

Key Accountabilities:
. To provide key point of contact and interface between function and QSE Department
. To facilitate effective implementation of common NEU standards and processes across the geographical scope of the business.
. To participate in a review of current management system controls and standards of implementation as part of a current 2008 Improvement Project
. To identify best practice across the business in order to facilitate continual improvement in management control and process outcome
. To monitor activities via audit, identify non compliances, trends and opportunities for improvement via monthly reporting
. To participate in functional processes where QSE input required (e.g. tender review, H&S Plan compilation, assessment of risk
. To provide source of expertise and advice on QSE matters



The Person

Career / Job Experience:
. Having experience in an engineering environment within the field of QSE Management
. Experience with international business
. Project Management/leadership skills

Education:
. Having a relevant professional Health and Safety qualification
. Substantial knowledge of QSE systems and improvement techniques within QSE
. Lead Auditor within ISO 9001 (or similar) and knowledge of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
. Knowledge of Six Sigma preferably Green Belt
. Full driving license
. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

. Systematic approach with strong problem solving and analytical abilities
. Computer Literate, able to use MS Office, in-house database and willing to travel on a regular basis across Northern Europe.
