We are looking for a direct material buyer for interior components for an international company in Gothenburg. Start Sept 1st!

Short description of need
Our client is looking for a buyer to support the team temporarily.
Information about the group/team and department
Direct Material Purchasing Interior – The buyer will be working in the interior team responsible for Seats, Occupant Safety & Surface materials. There are 14 buyers in the team.


Daily tasks and responsibilities
Act as main contact for commercial issues towards the supply base for running production
Administrative tasks e.g. place orders, manage contracts, reporting of performance, follow up tasks etc
Change management e.g. negotiate cost consequences for engineering product changes and production capacity changes.
Communicate with international suppliers & Company employees globally
Cross functional team work with Engineering & others
Support yearly commercial negotiations
Carry out market test analysis and benchmarking studies


Competence Requirements – Experience and background
Business or Technical education at University or equivalent
Proficient in Swedish & English
2-4 years buyer experience


Meritorious Competences
Automotive buyer experience


Personality
Works collaboratively with others, plans and drives independently, drives result, honest and trustworthy, manages complexity, problem solving skills
