Were looking to hire a buyer to join our experienced procurement team. In this role you coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner.


Responsibilities include:
   
placement of orders
Sending forecast to suppliers
Exception management with Rescheduling in, Rescheduling out and cancelling purchase orders
Obtains materials, components, equipment and services.
Manage assigned Items and Suppliers to acquire inventory in a cost effective, high quality performance to demand requirements.
Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value.
