For the Purchasing Department in Eskilstuna we are now looking for a: Buyer Purchasing & Supply Management in Eskilstuna has global responsibility for the purchase of Hydraulic, Electric & Electronic and Powertrain components for Volvo's Hauler & Loader Business Line.As a Buyer, you will work within a fast-moving goal-oriented organisation operating in a global environment.The work is cross-functional in cooperation with Supplier Development, Product Development, Material Control and other departments. Your main tasks: Lead and pursue sourcing activities within your own area of responsibility Plan, prepare and execute negotiations and sign contracts within your own area of responsibility Create and pursue purchasing strategies Actively participate in the product development process Pursue improvement and rationalisation processes between Suppliers, Product Development and Production Participate in Hauler & Loader Business Line's global cooperation with the other Volvo companies' purchasing organisations The applicant should have considerable experience of purchasing work and negotiations in both English and Swedish.You should have technical training from an institute of technology.In terms of your personality, you should be driven, have a structured mentality and find it easy to make and maintain contacts.It is a further merit if you have broad-based technical interests, particularly in vehicles.
