ValueOne is looking for a Buyer of electronic components for a consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Gothenburg. The assignment is to start immediately.
The role
The role means that you will be responsible for purchasing within the area of electronic components incl. semiconductors. You will be part of a global team with the mission to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base. You will work cross functionally with internal stakeholders and with external suppliers.
Main tasks:
Manage the global commodity of electronics components in running production phase, ensuring the supply of materials and services at the quantity, quality, cost and time.
Work in a cross functional team with other buyers, engineering, quality and delivery
Actively contribute to a sustainable and resilient value chain.
Handle order management and capacity assurance.
Conduct data management related to the commodity.
Experience and competence
For this assignment we are looking for an experienced purchaser knowledgeable in procurement and/or engineering work including commercial negotiation, preferably within the automotive industry. Also proficiency in English, both spoken and written is required.
The role demands well developed negotiation and communication skills and ability to handle parallel projects. You are a strong team player with a creative and solution oriented mind and a strong business acumen. You like challenges and are focused on setting and reaching goals.
