Volvo CE is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of Construction Equipment with operations and sales all over the world. Purchasing is an important part of the big puzzle with around 400 employees located all over world, supporting 14 production sites and all kinds of different Technology initiatives. You are working in a global environment with suppliers in most corners of the world. The purchasing team at the Volvo CE factory in Braås consists of 18 persons with different roles such as Operational buyers, Project leaders, Commodity buyers and Supplier development engineers.


The role
We are looking for an Operational buyer working with the commodities Machined castings & Rubber parts.


The main responsibilities in this role are the following:
Sourcing of new parts to our projects and production
Develop our business relations with our suppliers
Lead, and/or support in negotiations, delivery- or cost related matters
Contribute to the development of our supplier strategies
Responsible for the day-to-day business with our suppliers

Who are you?
We see that you have experience working within Purchasing and proven negotiation skills.
You have experience from working within industry segment and in new development projects.
With your communication skills, and open-minded ways combined with a drive and willingness to lead and take own initiatives you get the job done. You are a team player and want to be part of our great team.
Since we work in a global environment, good communication skills in English and Swedish are needed.
It is good if you have a working experience in SAP.
