CAD System Specialist, Information Systems

Alfa Laval is focusing on improving the time to market for new products.A part of this goal is the ability to work efficiently with CAD/CAM tools for R&D and Operations.

Alfa Laval is looking for an experienced CAD System Specialist who can assist Alfa Laval's product centres and Operations delivering assigned CAD related goals and objectives in an organized and cost effective manner.

As a member of Alfa Laval's Corporate IT in Sweden, the CAD Specialist reports directly to the Product Systems Manager.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with R&D and Operations in Sweden and Denmark to establish an agreed-to scope, budget, and schedule and manage the assigned team to deliver within the established parameters.

Create and manage project plans that can deliver expected results and ensuring that any factors which will impact scope, budget, or schedule are formally presented to the steering committee with alternatives and impacts.

Participate in, and coordinate the activities of team members from cross-functional departments and multiple locations, as well as third-party systems developers.

Effectively use best practices in the project management areas of integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, and risk.

Establish an understanding of Alfa Laval's CAD processes and participate in the development initiatives and the implementation of our CAD solutions.

Requirements:

Minimum 3years' university degree and a couple of years' work experience with 3D in one or more of the CAD tools, IDEAS, PRO/E or Inventor.

Must possess strong interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The position is a 12 months' temporary employment due to maternity leave.
