This is us!
Our world is a world of change.
Our organization is built by engaged people and great teamwork. We are a truly global company and we believe in the advantage of diversity. Together we create a workplace that brings the best out of everyone.
We believe in a sustainable future, and with the global construction industry as our arena we work together with our customers to turn this belief into reality for people everywhere. That is our purpose, and we live and breathe it, every day.
Here you will work together with some of the sharpest and most creative brains in the transport and infrastructure industry, developing cutting-edge technologies and sustainable transport solutions that will change the future of society. Do you want to be a part of building the world we want to live in?
We are now looking for our new colleague, a CAD Windchill Specialist, to join Strategy and Architecture, which is a part of Volvo CE Technology. At Strategy and Architecture, we coach, guide and support affected stakeholders throughout the entire value chain based on an understanding of global business needs regarding products, processes and systems. We are convinced that this is a major activity, becoming the most desired and successful transport solution provider in the world.
What challenge do we offer?
Volvo CE is in a very expansive stage introducing new technologies like electromobility, autonomous machines and connected solutions. Here you will play an important role in supporting the users in the new tools for product development.
You will be the first line support for the users in our new PLM system Windchill with its integrated CAD solutions (Catia and Creo). Together with a global team, you will find solutions to the challenges that appear. You will drive key user meetings and manage training needs. You will participate in setting up the product architecture within product projects using legacy or CAST principles. You will also be a part of the maintenance team and participating in projects driving Volvo CEs high ambitions for the future, how exciting isn’t that!
Who are you?
We don’t know yet! But we believe that it’s important that you have strong PLM system understanding, and a can-do-attitude that will challenge us to become even better. Having daily interactions with users, you also have great interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build trusting relationships and navigate with ease in our multi-cultural environment. You have an excellent problem solving ability and a good understanding of the end user daily operation.
Do you also share our continuous strive for improvement (it’s in our DNA)? Then you have a good foundation for becoming successful in this position.
