Café Manager
About us
We’re a small, neighborhood café in central Stockholm known for excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We value quality ingredients, friendly service, and a community feel. As we grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Café Manager to lead daily operations and shape our guest experience.
Role overview
As Café Manager you will oversee daily service, manage staff, maintain stock and quality, and drive local marketing and menu development. This is a hands-on role combining service, leadership, and operational responsibility.
Key responsibilities
● Lead and schedule café team; recruit, train and coach staff
● Manage daily service, ensure high standards for coffee, food and guest service
● Oversee inventory, ordering, supplier relations and cost control
● Develop and update menu items (seasonal and daily specials)
● Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and local regulations
● Handle cashing up, basic bookkeeping and reporting
● Plan small events, promotions and local collaborations to grow clientele
● Maintain a warm, inclusive atmosphere and handle customer issues professionally
Who we’re looking for
● 4+ years’ experience in café or hospitality; 1+ year in a supervisory role preferred
● Strong coffee knowledge and interest in specialty coffee, pastries and light food
● Excellent customer service and team leadership skills
● Organized, reliable, comfortable with inventory and basic numbers
● Fluent in English; Swedish language skills are a plus
● Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends
