Responsibilities
The Content Operations team is responsible for the planning, management and ingestion of music, video and podcasts, and improving the quality of metadata in customer’s catalogue. Content Operations proactively and reactively monitor the catalogue to ensure all incoming content and metadata is in line with company’s internal standards and of the highest quality. We’re looking for a person that has a high degree of knowledge about music, podcasts, and audiobooks and the culture around this content.


Your main responsibilities will be:


Ensure customer has a high quality catalog (metadata, audio, cover art, etc) both from partners and the elements that are internally derived
Analyze and curate content to adhere to Metadata Style Guide and other industry standards
Continuously improve processes, tools and documentation regarding quality of Metadata and content
Analyze large data sets and report back both internally and externally
Manage large annotation projects working with vendors or external consultants
Work cross-functionally with a range of teams at Spotify including Artist and Label Partnerships, PR, Licensing, Legal, Customer Support and R&D
Communicate complex technical problems and solutions to non-technical internal and external partners in an understandable way
Troubleshoot quality related issues and escalate accordingly
Work with our developers to improve and progress the quality of metadata and content in our catalogue


Working hours
Full time, 40 hours/week. The length of the assignment is 4 months and is expected to start as soon as possible.



Qualifications
In order to excel in this role you:


Have to be fluent in English
Have at least three years of relevant experience in the music industry
Have experience of supply chain management
Have a strong understanding of, and an interest in, audio, metadata and technology
Can build strong working relationships with content providers and internal teams
Are capable of meeting tight deadlines and will be focused on execution
Have a systematic approach to identify solutions
Are adaptable, and a quick learner who thrives in a rapidly changing environment
Are a multi-tasker, with excellent time-management and organizational skills
Are a self-starter, with the ability to take ownership of technical work streams
Are analytically minded and competent to interpret complex data
