CCP-System Testers

Product Development Unit Connectivity Packet Platform (PDU CPP) is responsible for the total life-cycle of CPP platform as part of the Business Unit Networks (BNET). We provide platforms for WCDMA, MGw and LTE. We are a global organization with major operations at design centers in: Croatia, Russia, India and Sweden. About 500 people work for PDU CPP, about 300 of those in Stockholm. In Stockholm we are today located in Älvsjö but will move to Kista in mid Q1 2010. The CPP Maintenance, Support & Verification department are about 80 persons. The products we handle are the Control System (incl. EMAS, DTE etc) and User Plane (IP, Network synchronization, Switch, ATM, SS7). We now seek System Testers to strengthen our verification organization. We are looking for persons that are highly interested and experienced in design and system test especially within SS7. You will be involved in activities such as test analysis, test preparation, test design, test execution, FOA support on-site and troubleshooting. You will work as part of a team in our development projects. Having desire and interest to work with IP test environments with routers, switches, security gateways, traffic generators and protocol analyzers is therefore also important. IP technology is a key component in CPP and as we are moving to "All IP" you will be involved in verification of our product in IP networks. We work with test automation using the latest techniques such as MBT (Model Based Test) and Java. Competence: Qualification (formal education needed): - Master of Science or equivalent. - Experience in design ,System or System/Function test especially within SS7 - Experience in SS7 Protocol Stack, M3UA,SCTP ,AAL,ATM - Strong Unix/Linux skills - C/C++ experience is good to have - Java experience is good to have - Good understanding of Telecom Networks - Fluent in English, both written and spoken - Excellent personal drive and energy to deliver results - Open mind and analytical capability - Good social skills for communication and leading others - A driven and flexible personality - Ability to work in teams but also ability to take initiative and work independently when needed - Have an interest to constantly learn and share your new findings It is also desirable to have: - Experience from RNC, RBS, LTE - Troubleshooting experience - Knowledge of the following protocols IP, UDP, RTP, GTP-U, SCTP, RSTP, IPSec - MBT (Model Based Test) - Java and JCAT skills (JUnit Common Auto Tester) - Scripting experience - Knowledge bout IP equipment such as routers and switches.
