Your responsibilities
As central fulfilment operations specialist you will:
• Support the distribution units in local and central projects
• Analyze, identify and propose improvement potentials in the operations
• Analyze capacities and create scenario plans for both the individual units and for our long term needs (together with the Omnichannel Network function)
• Act as point of contact for the Group function on various topics and initiatives
• Support the Group function in various development projects, e.g. connected to warehousing automation
• Conduct commercial reviews of the units and participate in safety and security assessments
• Support establishment projects with logistics competence
• Cooperate with the Business Risk & Compliance function mainly connected to safety & security
The role is permanent and located in the Helsingborg Service Office. Travelling between the sites and Helsingborg is regular. You will report to the Central Fulfilment Operations Manager.
About this work area
Customer Fulfilment is the logistics function within IKEA that contributes to a seamless shopping experience for the many people. Customer fulfilment is responsible for ensuring the availability of products and services by securing planning and fulfilment in an end to end perspective, the logistics in the stores, for operating different types of distribution centres, and for home deliveries, assembly and installation services for the IKEA customers in Sweden. The organization employs 2 500 co-workers and provides approximately 1 150 000 deliveries, assembly and installation services per year.
The Central Fulfilment Function operates the Distribution and Customer Distribution Centers and one Parcel Unit with locations in Älmhult, Torsvik and Arlanda.
