The Company
Niconovum markets innovative nicotine replacement therapy products that help consumers control their tobacco usage, under the Zonnic brand. Our products are sold in 4 markets: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland, and our brand is 3rd in terms of market share in each Nordic market it competes in. We are a small but agile organization, willing to take calculated risks. This, as well as our unique pouch format, is our competitive advantage and sets us aside from competition.
The organization consists of 11 employees representing all functions, so collaboration and consensus-building is essential. We’re currently based in Helsingborg but are transitioning to Malmö (The Point @ Hyllie) in Q2 2021, and the candidate for this position will be expected to work from the new office.
Role Purpose
As Head of Niconovum, you will have responsibility and oversight of all functions in the business including full budget accountability. Your focus will be driving business growth and expansion, whilst meeting aggressive targets for net sales and profit.
Your Key Business Deliverables include:
· Developing and executing country-specific (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland) marketing plans
· Managing all external agencies (media, creative, design, market research)
· Designing, implementing and analyzing all necessary market research
· Managing and building a solid and dynamic sales & marketing team
· Developing a pipeline of new products and oversee product development activities
· Identifying and planning for geo-expansion of existing products
· Exchanging experiences and best practices in marketing/sales in new markets
· Establishing sales forecasts per channel by country in cooperation with sales
· Initiating external business development projects (licensing, in-licensing)
· Overseeing all capital projects (timeliness, budget, quality)
· Responsiblity for all employee hiring, contract negotiations and retention activities
· Responsiblity for all communications and financial planning with parent company
