Certification Engineer, Engines

Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America Department "Verification & Validation, Sweden" has the responsibility for Verification, Validation and Engine Certification activities in ongoing projects. The department is organized within Technology / Advanced engineering. Now we are looking for a Certification Engineer, Engines. The legal demand of emission level is the individual requirement that most influence the development work within construction equipment. You will plan and run the Engine Certification work in order to receive certificates from authorities around the world. Core Responsibilities: Compile documentation to authorities Coordinate certification activities and report results Method development of certification process Create network within Volvo to share experience Study and interpret legal demands Competencies: Experience and interest of combustion engines Structured way of working Fluent English, spoken and written Open and positive attitude Good co-operation ability Education Required: Technical education, university degree
