Reporting to: Head of Ikano Development

Location: Malmö

Key responsibilities:

The chapter lead (CL) is responsible for the performance cycle and for the personal development of chapter members. The CL is also responsible for delivering the right competencies (employees and line consultants) to the Ikano Development Squads. That includes responsibilities for shaping and driving the recruitment pipeline of chapter competencies (employees and line consultants), chapter resource allocation and performance evaluations within the chapter based on team, individual and cultural aspects.

The main responsibilities include:

• Learning Plan - One-to-One Sessions with Chapter Members for their improvement, creating a learning plan, understanding the learning goals of individuals etc
• Mentor - Knowledge Sharing as an SME, Giving Constructive Feedback Frequently, Check if any help is needed from individual Chapter Members
• Competency Development - Prepare Training Plans, Brown bag sessions, Soft Skills Training, Pair work, Making sure individual chapter members are equipped to perform their job at the best
• Encouraging Team Members to help each other, Encouraging teamwork - Hall of Fame, Thank you cards, Build group cohesiveness, Promote Skills
• Strategy - Setting Expectations, Performance Appraisal, Encourage ongoing evaluation and improvement, Contribute to execution capability needs, issues and development

Professional skills

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and inspire, combined with experience of leading multi-cultural and multi-site teams
• Expertise in people management, people development, coaching/feedback, and talent attraction
• Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
• Understand the business needs and the requirements to develop our product roadmap for the future

Experience

• 5+ years line management/ Chapter Lead skills
• Experience of working in the DevOps model
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation and team leadership skills

Key competencies

• Making it happen - ability to take necessary decisions and implement changes
• Open-minded, should be able to adapt to working in a multi-cultural team atmosphere
• The ability to work in a team and live and breathe the Ikano values

Key figures

Mentor for a Chapter of roughly 12 people.
