Characteristics System Manager for 5G Core

About this opportunity
We develop the world's fastest 5G core network. Securing product characteristics is of utmost importance and a key parameter for our products' success! We are now looking two expert system engineers working within the Characteristics and Capacity area.

What you will do
As a system manager you will work with requirements, following up on product performance, creating dimensioning models to support the sells process and analyze data from customer deployments, in order to support customers. The role will provide a broad interface to other functions in the company, working with an end-to-end perspective.

The job includes
Writing requirements for Capacity and Characteristics of the products
Supporting and guiding development teams in the characteristics' area
Setting strategies for improvements of the product characteristics, as well as improving the way of working with product characteristics
Designing tools and solutions for analysis of test and customer data, supporting dimensioning models for product deployment, as well as product development
Receiving customer data and analyze it. Advise on customer deployment dimensioning. Make recommendations to product development based on customer findings
Working together with other parts of Ericsson to secure the end-to-end performance


You will bring
M.Sc. or similar degree in a technical field related to Computer Science, Mathematics or Data Science
Interest and competence in mathematics, data processing, and statistical analysis
Good ability to present your results verbally and in presentations
Excellent ability to communicate in English, spoken and written
Understanding of product characteristics data, and an interest and curiosity in how to improve the feedback loop to create outstanding products
Telecommunication Industry Experience (preferred) or experience from other large embedded software products
Experience from system design / requirement work is a merit
