Chemist and Pharmaceutical Scientist

Actar is a biomedical company which builds the bridge from academic research to drug development.Actar is located at Karolinska Institutet, Solna and has twelve employees.Medicinal chemists We are looking for creative and motivated medicinal chemists.Responsibilities include method development for synthesis of hit compounds, design of novel compounds, analysis of screening hits, PK datapatentability studies etc.This position requires a Ph.D. degree in organic or medicinal chemistry.With +5 years industrial drug discovery experience as well as project management experience is a requirement.Patent knowledge is appreciated.A good understanding in biology is also required.Analytical Chemist/Pharmaceutical Scientist We are looking for an analytical chemist to champion the development of analytical chemistry and related functions within Actar.Extensive experience in quantitative LC-MS/MS in a drug discovery or similar setting is required.Experience in bioanalytical sample preparation, data management, laboratory automation and structure elucidation is highly preferred.Beneficial skills also include preparative LC, chiral separations, metabolite identification, and conduct of assays to determine physicochemical and ADME properties.Hands-on experience in pharmacokinetics would be an additional advantage.For more information about Actar please visit our website www.actar.se Övrig information Anställningsform: Heltid, Tillsvidare.Tillträde enl ö.k.
