Chemometrician FOSS has recently created a strong, dynamic group "Team Chemometric Development" (TCD) and is now looking for an additional member to join the Team.The job The team is responsible for all chemometrics and multivariate analyses in relation to analytical solutions from FOSS.These sophisticated solutions are based on a variety of advanced technologies including Near Infrared Transmission, Near Infrared Reflectance, Mid-Infrared, X-ray, and other techniques such as Image Analysis.For all of these technologies, chemometrics and multivariate analyses play a central role both during the development phases and in the subsequent development of commercial calibrations for the instruments. As a member of this team, you will mainly be responsible for application development and support for some of the above mentioned technologies.Over time, active participation in R & D projects may also be possible. You will be part of a group of 14 very engaged and well-educated colleagues; half of them situated in Hillerød, Denmark, the other half in Höganäs, Sweden.The successful candidate will work at one of these two locations. Qualifications We imagine that you have a M.Sc.in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Veterinary Science or similar, and that extensive experience with advanced mathematics/chemometrics is part of your background. Beside the academic skills, it is important that you feel at ease in a commercial environment.Some years of work experience will be considered an advantage.Advanced knowledge of Matlab is an added asset.
