Dafo Fomtec AB is a privately owned company with head office in Tyresö, Sweden.The manufacturing site in Helsingborg is well situated for the shipment by road, air and sea.Fomtec is manufacturing fire fighting foam concentrates of various types.The commitment to provide high quality and innovative products to the professional fire protection market is demonstrated by the constant focus on product development and quality assurance.The customers around the world enjoy the strong customer focus and Dafo Fomtec set the pride in being both price competitive and sharp on delivery times.Dafo Fomtec AB is looking for a Chief Chemist at its manufacturing site in Helsingborg The position requires you to continue the research and development of new formulations and also testing the new products together with the technical equipment.You will work independently in a small and effective organization.Corporate language is English and many contacts are on international committees and with foreign customers.You must have a willingness of learning and an open mind of gaining new experience from the new field of fire fighting foams.Tasks: QA/QC of products manufactured by the company Modifications of the existing products Research & Development of new formulations Establish suitable methods for testing the products on fire Testing of products in accordance with national and international standards e.g.European EN's Organize submission of products for third party approvals Technical support to Sales and Marketing Representation on national and international committees as Technical Expert We are working with a continuous selection process, therefore we need your application as soon as possible.Please enclose your application in English.Qualifications: PhD in Organic Chemistry Experience from the industrial environment preferably in technical development and quality control Fluent in written and oral English
