Position

Acting as our Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing commercial strategies that maximise revenue opportunities, acquire new partners and contribute to the overall success of our company.

Where:

- Remote / Hybrid (Europe or North America East Coast)

The role:

- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy, with a strong emphasis on revenue generation and profitability (in a scalable and predictable way)

- Identify, evaluate, qualify and validate new opportunities, while establishing territories, quotas, and other KPIs for achieving revenue expectations

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals, including sales, marketing & PR

- Monitor and analyse market trends, consumer insights, the competitive landscape and financial KPIs, to develop and refine pricing strategies and revenue models

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product owners, and customer success, to align on commercial initiatives with overall business objectives

Experience:


- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA will be appreciated)

- Proven experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within the OTT or digital media industry, with a strong focus on B2B revenue generation (new customer acquisition & pipeline growth)

- Deep understanding of the digital entertainment landscape, market dynamics, and emerging trends

- Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies that have resulted in revenue growth (+10m Euro expansion) and increased market share

- Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making

- Dealt with individual quotas of 2+m Euro

- Experience from a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience of building results-driven cultures

The following knowledge will be seen as a bonus (if not, don't worry, if you're a fast learner you'll be fine):

- Video Delivery Technology (Encode, Transcode, Storage, DRM, Player Tech)

- Linear, Live and VOD Media Delivery Workflows

- CRM, CMS & Billing Integrations

- Excelled in a start-up or scale-up company
