CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER (CTO) BRANDOS is a leader in European footwear sales online.We offer one of Europe's largest ranges of footwear for men, women, and children with thousands of different styles from hundreds of well-known quality brands.BRANDOS is present in seven countries: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. We have grown fast in the past and we have high expectations for the growth ahead of us.To achieve our targets we need a talented CTO to head our IT department. The position includes overall responsibility for activities within the IT department, such as: * Keeping IT-systems scalable and reliable as transaction volumes grow.* Planning projects and resources based on business priorities.* Outlining and solving technical problems with senior and junior developers.* Participate in development whenever needed.* Responsibility for staff (2 developers) at headquarters in Stockholm.* Coordinating with and directing efforts at our Latvian IT-office.We want you to have the following profile: * Master of Science or equivalent degree.* At least 5 years experience as CTO or equivalent senior position.* Experience in large transactional IT-systems as well as scalability, reliability and performance issues for databases and web sites.* Hands-on approach, with experience in various parts of development.* Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, Unix-serers, * MVC-frameworks.As CTO you are part of the company's management and reports to CEO.The position is based at our headquarters in central Stockholm.
