yobetit is a newly established sports-betting company with an ambitious growth plan and a mission to reshape the industry. yobetit will offer arbitrage-enhancing odds aimed at traders and high-rollers, as well as function as a market-maker between external sportbooks looking to offset risk. The technology platform is based on advanced proprietary technology and solutions that are unique to the industry.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
yobetit is now looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who understands market needs, is able to translate these into technical requirements and, by managing several international development teams, is able to make sure these are realized and implemented in time and on budget.

Job Description
In your role you focus on managing and coaching the development team and driving the strategic development of the platform's road map and long-term architecture plan.

You are part of the head management team and report directly to the CEO. Together with the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for translating market requirements into functionality.

You have personal responsibility for your team, now a half dozen people located around the world, most of whom speak only English. In your team you have an accomplished technology innovator, acting as operational manager, as well as some of the world's foremost specialists in areas such as artificial intelligence.

Your Profile

You must be able to communicate fluently in English.

You are:
self-sustaining and able to delegate tasks to the right person.

a good communicator and able to simplify and effectively communicate complex matters equally well with the marketing staff as well as with the technical staff.

strategic and able to break down the overall goals into clear tasks.

a good manager, experienced at maintaining and developing relationships with employees.

solution-oriented and often take the initiative in an enthusiastic manner and without prestige.

You should have:
At least four years experience in senior positions, managing software development teams
Have worked with development projects in artificial intelligence or LISP

at least eight years experience in project management with experience in running business processes, setting clear goals.

The work environment

You will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but are expected to work at the headquarters in Uddevalla, Sweden, from time to time.
