Polestar is blazing a new trail, dedicating ourselves to the development and refinement of electric vehicle performance. Your experience as a CI Engineer/Specialist in our Software Test team would be invaluable to us both in concept work and when working with current designs for increased customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

Our Software Test Team is a part of the Software Integration and Test Group, is a team with a mission to deliver results which exceed the customers’ expectations. Today the team consists of HIL Engineers and HIL Developers but now we want to develop competence on Continuous Integration (CI) area. The area of responsibility of the team is the combination of multiple areas like HIL rig development, HIL Framework Development, Define and Develop CI infrastructure etc. Your responsibilities will be one or more as below:

- Involved in development of CI/CD principles
- Involved in development of continuous integration architecture
- Involved in development of continuous integration infrastructure
- Nursing of the complete SW build and CI flow
- All work is performed across R&D as a part of the team.

Who you are

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

- M.Sc. in Electrical and/or Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience from working in the field of software development
- Hands-on DevOps experience, working with automation, infrastructure, tooling, and developer workflows, good to have within automotive industry.
- Communicative and collaborative
- Ability to drive change and implementation and to engage and encourage others
- Structured, methodical and analytical with good planning skills.


Experience using a relevant sub-set of the following tools & technologies:

- Atlassian products such as Confluence and JIRA
- Jenkins or Zuul
- Azure cloud or AWS
- GitHub/Gerrit
- Python
- JavaScript
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana etc.


You have a strong will to create the future of electric vehicles - it’s probably fair to call you an EV nerd passionate about solving climate changes. You are enthusiastic, motivated, well-organized and driven. You’re not afraid to try new approaches and out of the box methods. You have a holistic view, including vision, business, and customers. You are a fast learner and are not afraid of addressing tough challenges.
