You will be part of the Marine and Ports, a business unit within Industrial Automation division, which provides marine systems, products and life cycle service, including spare parts to shipowners and shipyards. In addition, this business unit provides harbor and industry crane solutions, products and service, including spare parts to crane builders.
Reporting to the SW Operations Manager, you will become a key player in a variety of customer projects, from idea to software installation and testing, become actively engaged with development, implementation and support. We see that you start contributing with your ideas to innovative technology development and solutions as you grow in your role.
You will belong to SW Design department and report to the department manager, while work orders will come from After Sales department. The role will be based in Sweden, Västerås, but will also require some travel globally.


Your responsibilities
Prepare CIMS computers for delivery to customers, who upgrade their HMI`s on the cranes.
Be involved in all types of upgrade/revamp activities.
Deliver quality to customers with providing maximized effort in meeting customer expectations.
You are ready to meet an international environment and serve a large global customer base.

Your background
A technical education in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Some experience from electrical design or plant design, basic computer skills are a must, and PLC programming knowledge, is a merit.
Ability to work towards common goals in a structured and meticulous way.
You have a general technical understanding and interest, and you enjoy taking on interesting challenges and finding solutions together with others.
Proficient in English, written and spoken alike.
