Class Teacher for grade 4-6

IES Hässelby is a school for grades 4-9 with 570 students and 60 staff. We follow the Swedish national curriculum with up to 50% of teaching in English. Our school is located in Hässelby, just outside the city of Stockholm, a short walk from Grimsta nature reserve and Hässelby strand train station.

We are looking for a class teacher for grades 4-6 to join us on August 3, 2022. 

IES Hässelby is looking for  a qualified teacher with good knowledge of English and Swedish. The position includes teaching in Junior school (years 4-6) in multiple subjects. You should be positive and cooperative and ready to be part of an international team. The position also includes shared mentorship for a class. Your own teaching will mainly be in English.

Required:

* Teaching licence/registration with relevant higher education from outside of Sweden (TEFL/CELTA are not sufficient) or Swedish “lärarlegitimation” 

* Fluency in English
