Purpose of the Team

Infrastructure Management EMEA oversees key IT infrastructure elements that are required to deliver global business services in Alfa Laval. The team consists of mostly senior specialists working with management of network-, cloud-, and server and storage solutions. The team members are involved in everything from solution design, development, test, implementation, knowledge sharing, daily operations, and support of the entire Alfa Laval infrastructure.

About the job

You will be part of the growing Azure & M365 solution area and work closely with the Cloud architects and specialists in the global team. You will work with Azure infrastructure and deploy, configure, and monitor resources such as virtual machines, networks, web apps and databases. You will also work with cloud security solutions across the Azure and M365 platforms, such as Endpoint Manager and Defender. Although our primary cloud platform is Microsoft, there is a need to also start building capabilities with other cloud providers in the future.  

You will work both with development and operations within the solution area, including 3rd line support.  Creating and supporting scripts built in PowerShell is part of your daily work, as well as working with the full range of tools in the M365 collaboration suite. You will work closely with staff also in other parts of the organization, with both training and documentation, and ensure that we can provide, and support cloud solutions needed by the business.

At Alfa Laval we are organized in value streams, and we work according to the SAFeAgile principles, using Azure DevOps. Experience in working in Azure DevOps, understanding the basics around an agile release train, the team backlog, sprint planning, capacity planning and the incremental way of delivering value, is a qualification.

What you know
* You have a relevant technical education, about 5-10 years of work experience within IT and have worked actively with cloud solutions for the past 2-3 years.
* You have experience in Azure and M365, MS Certifications are merited
* You have experience with Active Directory in a hybrid cloud environment
* You are familiar with Zero Trust cloud
* You have experience with on-prem to cloud migrations, as well as cloud to cloud migrations
* You are used to working with PowerShell
* You are fluent in both English and Swedish, spoken and written
