Collections Manager

Citibank will be launching a new private label and co-branded credit card product across the Nordic Region throughout 2006/2007.This is a key global initiative in partnership with a Global Retailer and involves a significant investment by Citigroup.This opportunity offers considerable scope for growth within Citigroup and requires a willingness to develop professionally and a desire to make things happen in a new business.Citibank is now in the process of finding a Manager for Nordic Card Collections, with placement in Stockholm, Sweden.In this role you will define and implement a consistent and high quality execution of Collections Strategy throughout the Nordics.You will lead, motivate and develop both offshore and local outsourced Collections teams, whilst exceeding operational goals through effective management.Below listed tasks that will be expected from you: .Partner with Functional Heads and Risk Management to develop optimal Collections strategies for the Nordics .Define and document Collections procedures and RSCA (Risk Control Self Assessment) process working in partnership with the Process & Optimization manager and Country Operations Managers .Implement plans to support strategic decision-making and to ensure that the objectives will be met .Monitor progress against plan taking corrective action as necessary .Provide effective, ongoing communication to all relevant parties .Identify opportunities to maximize revenue, save costs, influence and lead change within a competitive business environment .Be an effective member of the Nordic Cards Management team Applicants need to have: .Advanced understanding of technologies, MIS, policies and processes supporting Collections..Good understanding of Collections strategies .Knowledge of the economy, market and customer trends affecting our business .Understanding of Nordic credit, legal and regulatory environments .Well developed influencing and negotiation skills .Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, able to interface at all levels .Ability to see bigger picture with a hands-on approach Does this sound interesting?In this recruitment process we are working together with Adecco Recruitment.
