As a Commercial Advisor, you will provide crucial commercial expertise to our Business Tech product organization, ensuring the delivery of expected business value throughout the product life cycle. Your role involves bringing rigor to business cases, executing deals that meet business objectives, and optimizing ongoing relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Product Leaders: Assist in defining and implementing commercial and partner strategies.
Negotiate Terms: Secure advantageous terms with external partners.
Partner Screening: Identify potential new partners and collaborations relevant to the product area.
Business Case Development: Collaborate with product leaders to define and secure business cases.
Commercial Model Establishment: Determine and implement the most suitable commercial models to serve business cases.
Strategic Partner Management: Define and implement strategic parameters for the partner portfolio and ensure optimal long-term management.
Performance Management: Oversee collaboration and performance management according to frameworks and assess risks versus expected business outcomes.
Risk Management: Manage risks for partner and vendor contracts and agreements.
Commercial Strategy Development: Challenge existing commercial models and suggest new strategies.
Negotiation Strategy: Devise negotiation strategies and processes best suited for deals.
Deal Design: Identify potential deal designs to reflect objectives, such as risk aversion versus creating optionality.
Deal Making Processes: Manage processes such as RFP, tendering, crafting, and time planning.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to Purchasing and Consultant Policies.
Deal Execution: Execute deals and ensure alignment with initial deal objectives.
Domain Knowledge Acquisition: Continuously acquire knowledge of the product domain through supplier and market analyses.
Spend Analysis: Monitor and act on spend analyses.
Collaboration Setup: Support the setup for collaboration and governance between product stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
Contract Life-cycle Management: Manage contract life-cycles, including extensions, renegotiations, terminations, and call-offs.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in KPI analysis and business case construction.
