To support our customers digital experience, drive sales and develop on-line marketing capabilities, we are now hiring a Business Owner eCommerce. This is a replacement recruitment for our previous Product Owner role.

Digital Sales is a team within Global Parts and Services (GP&S) at Volvo Penta. In this team we are responsible for the global eCommerce sales channel and to secure digital content for the full GP&S assortment. This assortment includes Spare parts, Accessories and Services. In this role you will be working in close collaboration with Digital & IT, and the market representatives securing a world class customer experience for our eCommerce users.
This is how you could make an impact
You will be responsible for driving and prioritizing launches and functionality expansion of our eCommerce solution all the way from road map to sprint planning. Our new eCommerce solution is currently being rolled out to 32 markets, 17 languages carrying a multi-million business. This role is the focal point for global business priorities. You will also drive the development and operation support in collaboration with IT counterparts. As Business Owner you have a detailed understanding for the eCommerce solution, keep a tight dialogue with the markets and users about business needs as well as the trends and development within the industry. You are also responsible for the business side of digital payments and commercial engagement with Payment Solution Providers, both from a strategic and operational perspective.
→ All with the purpose to secure an excellent customer experience, efficient eCommerce processes and innovative thinking within the B2B2C eCommerce arena.
Who are you?
We seek candidates who have worked with digital business development, who has strong communication skills and solid understanding of agile processes. You should have a background working in eCommerce or similar areas with core understanding of the business processes underpinning a modern B2B2C.
You are a person who is eager to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and together with colleagues in Digital&IT secure that our eCommerce solution is maintained and developed to reach top demands of our service market users.
We also require:
Fluent in English
Deep understanding of eCommerce operation
Experience of Agile IT development
Experience of support operations for digital solutions
Bachelors degree in Business or IT, relevant for this position
