In order to further develop our portfolio of sustainable city projects and concepts, we are now looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Project Manager within the Sustainable City team in E.ON Business Innovation.
 

Business Innovation is responsible for E.ON’s innovation portfolio within Regional Unit Sweden and for positioning E.ON for the future energy market by initiating and running projects from start to maturity with the purpose of creating and developing the business models and energy solutions of the future. Business innovation also aims to foster a cultural shift by applying new ways of working, an innovative and open business climate always close to our customers and to ensure that our team members develop skills needed in future E.ON leading to a gradual rotation of Business Innovation competence and team members out to our operational business units.
 

In the role as Commercial Project Manager Sustainable city concepts you will be responsible for development of commercial sustainable city solutions and concepts, e.g. for new-build and commissioning of new city districts fostering growth of energy infrastructure business and products and services in the field of B2B solutions. The work is conducted in close collaboration with our business units, often with a cross-business and integrated approach. The role also includes responsibility for standardization and gradual roll-out of business concepts into operational business with the objective to scale and grow our operational capability to exploit market and business opportunities.
 

In order to meet the needs from our business units, the role requires ability to provide expertise and support to operational business concerning city development processes and collaboration models with municipalities, i.e. to secure early stage involvement in city projects. The role also requires a strong commercial focus with in-depth understanding of how to integrate E.ON business with municipal and customer pre-requisites and expectations. The role implies involvement in many projects, often with a high level of interaction with customers, municipalities and internal stakeholders, which means that you need to navigate many tasks in parallel and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. As part of the Sustainable city and Business Innovation team you will be involved in shaping and executing the comprehensive agenda of innovation activities within E.ON. University degree within engineering and/or business/finance

At least five years of professional experience

Business and commercial experience in the field of energy systems or solutions.

Experience and know-how regarding collaboration with municipalities, e.g. concerning city development processes, innovation framework and platforms and sustainable development

Experience concerning concept or product development Project management experience and skills

Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.


Personal skills
As a person you are driven by doing business and development and you have a commercial interest. You have highly developed communications skills and the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders and managers. Equally important is to be both flexible and creative and have a positive attitude.
Fluent English and Swedish skills.
