Lead a world class tender team to connect a greener world 

Do you want to be at the centre of the transition to renewable energy? Do you have a passion for collaboration and people in an international environment? We have the ideal opportunity for you. Working closely with our customers we provide and install high voltage cables systems to enable clean and efficient energy transmissions between countries, from offshore wind farms and to offshore platforms.  

Drive the commercial scope in our large global projects
We are in an expanding phase and are now searching for skilled individuals to join our team as a Commercial & Tender Manager. You will have the opportunity to work and to continuously develop at a company which is dedicated to power cable technology and our purpose is to connect you, us and the society to a greener world by enabling a sustainable energy transmission.

With your customer focus, technical interest, and business-minded approach, you will have primary responsibility for the tendering of large, global, and highly complex projects. You will coach and lead your project tender team to meet customer requirements and expectations. At NKT you will have ample opportunity to apply your creativity and strategic thinking in structuring robust environmentally friendly solutions to win the confidence and trust of our customers, ultimately manifested by the award of their project contracts to NKT. 

You will cooperate with NKT’s front end sales organization, legal experts, engineers, production units, planners, Quality-, Health & Safety experts and installation experts, to ensure that the tenders move forward and meet deadlines. Other responsibilities will include presenting our solutions to customers, leading negotiations, further develop our extensive network of contacts, and work to achieve success in our tenders
Your primary tasks will be: 
* Responsibility for all aspects in the tender from start of tendering to contract award and handover to the Operations department
* Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary tender team 
* Responsibility to deliver high quality tenders and health & safety and environmental aspects meeting both customer and NKT demands and directives. 
* Connecting, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally
* Responsibility for sales strategy activities in alignment with management


You will be a part of a skilled team of colleagues placed mainly in Karlskrona. We are open to flexible location at any of our Swedish offices in Karlskrona, Västerås, Malmö, Alingsås or Falun.

Commercially driven team leader with technical understanding
To thrive in this role you are a driven and independent person, who provides excellent team leadership. You coach and motivate your project team, encouraging them to continuously develop their skills, and you enjoy collaborating and sharing experiences with colleagues as well as with customers.
You are motivated by being in an international environment, where you have the opportunity of applying your analytical abilities, passion for people, strong social skills, and integrity. 
Proficient communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas to others with an emphasis on being solution orientated is key to succeed in this role. It is highly beneficial if you possess a wide-ranging understanding of technology and complex contracts. You preferably have experience of managing or selling major projects, in the power, offshore or construction sectors. You are an effective negotiator and enjoy finding good customer-oriented solutions while negotiating.  

Additionally, your CV comprises:  
* M.Sc. or similar
* Fluency in spoken and written English 
* Proficiency in other languages such as German is a merit
