Commissioning Engineer/Operator to power plants
Worktasks
We work project oriented, our suppliers are located in an international market and our customers are mainly in Sweden. As a Commissioning Engineer/Operator, you work to ensure that our designed switchgear facilities function properly. Most of the working time takes place at our construction sites, which means that you have to enjoy being on the road during the weeks. As a commissioning leader, you are actively involved in planning, choosing technical solutions, developing self-checks and test plans in accordance with our own and client's requirements. You have ongoing contacts with our project manager, mec. and electrical designers, our assembly leader and also subcontractors. As an operator, you work with plant testing at our facilities. This means, among other things, carrying out functional checks of in-depth switchgear devices, control cabinets, verifying that the different systems and functions of the system are working properly. It is a very stimulating and important work that mixes theory and practice. Common to both roles is that you will participate in tests in our test rooms. It may be possible to combine this service with a role as an electrical designer.
Education and experience
You have a university education within electrical engineering or equivalent and/or several years of experience in the field. We assume that you have good computer skills. You are driven, thorough, structured and enjoy working in teams. We operate throughout Sweden which may mean that you get to travel a lot during the weeks. This requires that you have the possibility to sleep from home during the weeks as well as a driving license with a minimum B qualification. The location can be in one of the cities Västerås, Härnösand, Luleå, Skellefteå or Sundsvall. Other alternative locations may be possible. Great importance for us is your personality and earlier experience.
