Unit/Department Description:
Purchasing within Husqvarna Construction Equipment. The department consists of 3 groups in Sweden, China and USA. The department has 2 major roles: Purchasing and Supplier Quality Assurance. The position is based in Jonsered just outside of Gothenburg or in Huskvarna.


Position/Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced purchasing professional with a strategic view as well as hands on experience of purchasing to manufacturing industries. In this role you will:
. Be fully responsible for given Commodities
. Create and drive strategy for your Commodities
. Negotiate Purchasing Agreements and Price agreements
. Drive project sourcing in line with the strategy for the respective commodity
. Perform negotiations on contracts, pricing etc
. Place prototype orders, contract orders etc
. Work in close collaboration with R&D
. Plant an purchasing in 3 continents (Sweden, China & USA)
. Project Management
. Participate and/or drive specific cross-functional or cross-divisional improvement projects
. Participate in updating and creating purchasing processes



Preferred qualifications:

Education:
. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or other relevant discipline
Experience:
. Minimum 3 years of experience working purchasing to a manufacturing company. Either in a commodity role, manager role or as a strategic buyer.
Languages:
. Fluency in English is required (written and oral)
Skills and Capabilities:
. A strong personal drive to work and deliver results independently
. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
. Good communications skills
. A systematic approach and strategic view
