Commodity Manager - Indirect Material & Services

In the Husqvarna Group, Indirect Material & Service Purchasing is one of the focus areas which have a very high priority and is expected to significantly contribute to the company's result.

This position is a part of the central purchasing department in Huskvarna which is combining activities for the whole Husqvarna Group for Indirect Materials & Services.

Responsibilities and duties
This position is responsible for negotiating pricing and terms and conditions for indirect commodities and capital expenditures.The person is expected to work directly with internal subject matter experts and understand the requester's detailed specifications and award criteria in order to determine and execute an appropriate procurement strategy.
The purchasing strategies for Indirect Material and Services are proposed and decided in our global purchasing councils after approvals of the stake holders in different areas.

The mission is to develop and coordinate the best possible total lowest cost through continuous cost reduction activities and strategy within the responsible commodities together with the departments.

The main areas within Indirect Materials & Services are; Marketing and communication, logistics, IT/communication, property/energy, professional service, MRO, capital investments, travel including air line agreements, cars etc.

Qualifications
In order to succeed in this position you need to have international experience in the areas of agreements, negotiations and purchasing processes.You must have at least 10 years of qualified purchasing experience, of which at least 5 years in the area of Indirect Materials on a strategic level.Experience of e-commerce will be seen as very positive.

We are looking for an independent, self-motivated person with a lot of drive to achieve change within the organization.You probably have a degree from the University within economy, technical or business law.Full knowledge of English as well as Swedish language is required.
