What´s in it for you?
Here is an opening for an exciting and developing job within Manufacturing Engineering. Software download & final test is a part of the team that see to that software functions for tomorrow’s car’s works in a global assembly and fine-tunes their attributes by testing in our box cars. You would work with the most interesting software download processes on the market as a software engineer.

What you will do?
As software engineer you will perform fault tracing, analyse possible mismatch of software/hardware solutions, request updates, do minor programming yourself or arrange scripts in our test environments. Error handling is not a planned activity, but complex systems of modern prototype vehicles is expected to have some degree of error states that need to be found and corrected so the cars can be used for their planned purposes. You will be a new member in our global team supporting all our plants worldwide.
Do you fit the profile?
A big car/software interest will be very beneficial to be able to perform and thrive in this role. We also like you to have professional experience as a vehicle technician or software engineer. You should be able to prioritize, take responsibility and maintain high quality in your job. The tasks require that you welcome and want to understand new technology, have software skills and independently obtain necessary information. This type of engineering requires a structured way of working to solve the, sometimes very complex, issues reported to you. You have the ability to express yourself well and value good communication towards colleagues in order to understand their needs. You value the importance of cooperation for the benefit of both yourself and others. You like to travel and work in a global environment. Constantly having a global mindset in everything you do. You have a University degree or similar experience and with knowledge of VCATS, Script, CAN tools or simulator. You have very good car knowledge, especially for its electronics and software. Of course, you are excellent in English and Swedish both spoken and written.
