At Volvo Cars, we are making bold digital visions come true. We aim to lead in the automotive world by creating a digital ecosystem built around making our customers' lives less complicated. Volvo Cars is performing a strategic shift towards becoming a software driven company, with data being a core asset in this transformation. You will join the Management team of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Digital area. We aim at bringing clarity, visibility and transparent communication to our digital teams as well as business colleagues.

What you'll do

You will drive an excellent agenda management for the team and accelerate the communication journey by setting up new communication channels and organizing events such as extended management team meetings and townhalls. Perform assignment as an individual operational contributor. According to functional descriptions, established development and governance models, processes, directions and guidelines.
You will be planning and optimizing the time and performance of a manager/executive and/or a team. Act as an interface between internal and external business relations. Tasks may involve dealing with correspondence and phone calls, comprehensive/complex meeting coordination with different stakeholders, preparation of events, creating communication for internal and external platforms, and quickly react to new business demands.
Responsibility
o Actively lead and drive the development of working methods, procedures, and digitalization.
o Actively lead and drive the management team´s action logs and agenda for continuous performance improvements.
o Fully proficient in English communication both written and oral. Strong communication skills.
o Actively manage priorities and complexity or multiple managers, stakeholders and teams in parallel.
o Lead the communication and event management for the unit.
o Open and distribute mail and use form letters or emails to respond to routine requests.
o Maintain files and records o Use standard office software to carry out basic formatting on letters, memoranda and routine reports.
o Maintain appointment calendars and reserve meeting rooms following detailed instructions to arrange business meetings efficiently.
o Ensure a positive experience for internal clients by having courteous interactions with them.
o Act according to Corporate Policies and directives.
