ITT Water & Wastewater is a global provider of water handling and treatment solutions for municipal and industrial customers in more than 140 countries.ITT designs and delivers energy-efficient solutions and related services for water and wastewater transport, biological treatment, filtration and disinfection.ITT Water & Wastewater is a business of ITT Corporation, a high-technology engineering and manufacturing company operating in three vital markets: water and fluids management, global defence and security, and motion and flow control.www.ittwww.com Global Communications is a management function within ITT Water and Wastewater and is responsible for the dissemination of critical messages with the company's internal and external constituents.The function aims to deliver superior market communications to effectively position the capabilities of ITT with customers, as well as to use disciplined communications to engage and align the company's workforce.To this end, the team is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of ITT communication activity, including maximizing the use of existing channels and evaluating emerging tools to reach critical audiences.Describing the position As Communication Manager you are part of the BU Dewatering management team.Your role is to identify, drive, lead, deploy and follow up on activities in BU marketing communication and other communication activities.You will be reporting to Head of Communication and BU Management.Area of responsibility .[Communication strategy and operational leadership within the BU .[Ensure communication is in line with and supporting BU Dewatering business strategy and GDP activities .[Together with BU Management prepare, develop and deploy BU communication plan .[Yearly communication plan inline with BU and sales companies needs (idea, development, implementation and follow up) .[Develop and implement communication plans per activity/project..[Secure brand and branding issues in all BU communication (brand promise, consistent message and value proposition)..[Internal communication (define needs, target group, channels, develop strategy) .[Develop concept and/or material for international fairs..[Product launches (message, deliverables, communication channels)..[Responsible for liaising with external agencies and purchasing consultants.Experience requirements You have post gradual/academic education within communication, marketing or corresponding relevant education.You have[5-10 years working experiences from communication projects and experience in managing international B2B communication projects.Excellent knowledge in Swedish and English is a requirement.Personality requirements To succeed in the role you are result oriented with a driven personality and can balance multiple priorities simultaneously.You should be structured and well organized.Team spirit and good communication skills are essential.We want your application no later than 2010-11-21.
