Communication Technician

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.For our customer we are now looking for a Communication Technician Uppdragsbeskrivning: Network is a department within Production that provides an end-to-end connectivity service.Our responsibilities cover LAN, WAN, telephony, security, external connections, addressing, monitoring and documentation services.The main tasks in the assignment will be: Wireless-installations with WLC, WAN design, configuration and maintenance.LAN installations, Layer3 and VLAN configurations remote and on site.2nd - 3rd level support.E.g.: - Configuration Layer3 and install wireless in XXX stores and warehouses - Support XXX expansion and configure new built stores, most often remotely - WAN line upgrades, MPLS, VPN, SDH - WAN design, troubleshooting, maintenance, implementation etc There might be some travelling for onsite-installations.English language-skills a must.The consultant shall have following profile: .At least 7-8 years of experience within communication .Analytical, accurate and thorough .Have experience from working with network at a global enterprise .Be creative, self driven and a responsible person .Communicative with people in the organisation Following demands must be fulfilled: .Knowledge and experience from Cisco environments and devices .Expert knowledge in configuration of LAN, switching, Cisco 3750 and 3560 .Expert knowledge of design, configuration, implementation of WAN, routing TCP/IP, MPLS .Expert knowledge of design, configuration, implementation of wireless .Expert knowledge of new wireless controllers (WLC) Following criteria are desirable: .Understand the ITIL processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management and Incident Management etc.To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.We also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
