About the position
Stockholm International School is recruiting a Communications Officer (Digital and Community) to play a key role in implementing a communications programme to engage our diverse international, multicultural community. Reporting to the Advancement Director, and as part of the Advancement team, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the School’s digital channels including the website, social media, internal intranet, and digital screen displays, ensuring they are up-to-date, of high quality, and meet the needs of the SIS community.
Working with colleagues, you will generate and manage content, report on engagement statistics, and make recommendations for improvement and enhancement of the digital spaces.

Essential
Proven track-record of successfully working with communications.
High level of written and spoken English (native or equivalent) is required.
Experience of updating a professional website using a content management system.
Experience of driving engagement on social media platforms.
Experience using a CRM for distribution of communications.
Experience working with an organisational brand style.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to work effectively in a team.
Willingness and ability to work on a number of simultaneous projects.
A pleasant and friendly personality.
The ability to function effectively under pressure.
The ability to show initiative and work independently.

Desirable
A university degree in a relevant field.
Additional languages.
Experience of Graphic design and video creation for social media.
Experience of communications work within an educational setting.
International background or experience.

Temporary substitute contract, 9 months (with a possibility of permanent engagement)
Start: 2021-01-01
End: 2022-09-30
