Communications Officer - Web and Print

The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) is a policy institute that contributes to international efforts to combat the world's escalating water crisis. SIWI develops and promotes future-oriented and knowledge-integrated policies, towards sustainable use of the world's water resources leading to sustainable development and poverty eradication.

The Stockholm International Water Institute is looking for a, creative person who possesses strong design skills and a background in print production and web editing. You will be joining a dedicated communications team who work as an in house bureau servicing SIWI's departments and driving the development of new communications related activities.

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
. 3-5 years experience in designing print productions from start to finish, including handling contacts with suppliers.
. 3-5 years experience in developing and maintaining web sites using content management systems. Our web sites include www.siwi.org, www.worldwaterweek.org, www.watergovernance.org, and www.swedishwaterhouse.se.
. Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and with an eye for details.
. The ability to work independently and drive projects but also function as member of a team.
. Experience working with external consultants and suppliers, tendering bids etc.
. Strong writing skills.
. Very good knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
. English fluency (preferably as mother tongue)

The position is full-time, one year contract, starting at the earliest possible date. There are good chances for continuing the position after one year. The position is based at the SIWI headquarters on Drottninggatan in Stockholm, Sweden.
