Sandvik AB is looking for a communications professional to join the Group Communications team.Group Communications is responsible for media contacts and PR, issue management, intranet and the web as well as corporate identity matters.The team is also in charge of the publication of various printed matter as well as arranging meetings and conferences.The team group consists of 7 people and is headed by the Vice President, Group Communications.This position is located in Sandviken.Key performance areas You will participate in building Sandvik as a strong global brand as well as supporting employee satisfaction through improved communication. Your responsibilities are primarily: - Develop and maintain the Sandvik Identity manual.- Organize visitor services and head office exhibitions.- Project management for global brands project.- Plan and coordinate Communication events.- Participate in projects together with the team.- Support the team in various tasks where appropriate.Your profile - University degree in marketing or communication.- Strong writing and publication skills.- Competence in how to formulate, edit and distribute information to various stakeholders.- Ability to cooperate with external resources such as advertising agencies and exhibition houses.- Experience in project management.The qualified candidate is a co-operative person who enjoys working within teams and networks as well as independently.You are an initiator, flexible, quality oriented, pedagogic, systematic person with a holistic view. It is a prerequisite that you have good knowledge in written and spoken Swedish and English. Send your application not later than 25th of May 2008.
